Work with plan B

​

plan B is a dance company based in Evanton that creates and tours live performances as well as delivering classes, workshops, projects and events.

In order to strengthen its work in the community plan B welcomed Laura-Johnston-Scott as Associate Artist.

 

• Since working with plan B Laura has created a young company, that meet every Thursday at Averon Leisure Centre in Alness. 

 

The company's future performances are:

1. Word on the Street, Dingwall - 20th October 2018

2. The Big Dance Show, Eden Court - 12th November 2018

• plan B have developed two new productions to tour in the new year of 2019 - Laura Johnston-Scott is Rehearsal Director;

• plan B are also developing a new dance theatre piece called 'In the Light of the Moon - choreographed by Laura Johnston-Scott and performed by Laura Johnston-Scott and Laura MacLennan. It will be ready for touring in March 2019.

CLASSES:

• Wednesdays:

4.00 - 5.30pm plan B Young Company (12+ year old), Averon Leisure Centre - Alness, £3.00

• Friday:

11.00am - 12.30pm Advanced Dance Class (occasional tutor) - A challenging and in-depth technique class for professionals or dancers with considerable dance experience and ability.  Eden Court Theatre, £8.00

WORKSHOPS:

​

• Senior Fèis - Monday 22nd – Friday 26th October

Fèis Rois nan Deugairean is a week for young people in S1-S6.  Classes include instrumental tuition, sound engineering, Gaelic song, songwriting, percussion, contemporary dance and group work.  https://www.feisrois.org/residential-feisean/senior-feis/
